Slim Line Shower Filter Cartridge

Our Shower Filter cartridges use a higher quality mix of 50% KDF-55 and 50% GAC, by increasing the KDF-55 content this provides a higher chance of the following improvements:

• Better Chlorine reduction
• Higher bacterial removal
• Longer life cartridges
• Better heavy metal reduction
• More scale reduction

Quality is always at the forefront of our minds and therefore we have developed this high quality Shower Filter cartridge for our entry level Shower Filter. Yet we have maintained the same price for our customers, we believe quality should not cost more - it should just be inherent in all the things we do.

Stage 1 - Micro filter:
Removal of free floating material that is present within municipal water.

 Stage 2 - NSF Certified KDF-55:
This portion consists of 50% NSF Certified KDF-55 water filtration medium, you can read more about this medium on our section on the science of shower filters. Here are just some of the contaminants that KDF-55 removes: Chlorine, Bacteria & Fungi, Heavy Metals, Radon, Iron, etc.

Stage 3 - Granulated Active Carbon (GAC):
The 50% GAC portion of the filter cartridge works hand in hand with the KDF-55 to remove additional contaminants such as; Bad odours and tastes, sediment, Chlorine and other contaminants.

 Stage 4 - Micro filter:
The final stage of the Shower Filter is yet another micro filter which removes any carbon based materials, ensuring fresh clean water.
